Silvia Navarro (born 20 March 1979 in Valencia) is a Spanish goalkeeper, playing for Itxako Reyno de Navarra and the Spanish national team.

Club career Edit

With Itxako, Silvia won the Spanish league and the EHF Cup in 2009. In 2010 she won the Queen's Cup.

National team Edit

Silvia played for the first time for the Spanish national team in the 2006 European Championship. She was initially called by Jorge Dueñas to be part of the squad for the 2009 World Championship, but she was later discarded due to economical reasons. In March 2010, following the retirement of Mihaela Ciobanu, Silvia was selected to take part in the 2010 European Championship qualification matches against Serbia.
